The shoot is viewed by many as the most exciting part of the production process - and rightly so. But lack of proper pre-production can potentially turn it into a nightmare. The TV Department can ensure that each shoot is stress free and congenial while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism at all times.

  Film type

We have huge experience shooting on various film formats. These are predominantly 35mm or 16mm film, Hi-Definition or Digi-Beta. Whether the choice of format is cost driven or style driven, we have the know-how to advise you on the best format for your budget or the overall look you need to achieve.

  Locations

If you're looking to film in either a studio or on location, The TV Department can help. Our clients can benefit from our previous filming experience in Europe, The United States, South Africa and here in the UK - in both studio and on location on multi-formats.

We can also assist in the budgeting and scheduling for all shoots where appropriate.

  Outsourcing

If we don't shoot the project for you directly as your chosen production company, we can outsource the production to other leading production companies. Effectively, we become your own virtual TV department and will undertake all the responsibilities which go with the assignment.

We will allocate a producer and a production assistant to your project and source a director for the task and we will act as your representative and production experts every step of the way.
